Today I will explain some things about simple past vs present perfect tense and will also do some questions that my teacher gave. so let's see ππ» Simple Past Tense is used to express an event that happened and ended / finished in the past at a certain time. Simple Past is oriented towards the event/situation. Subject + Past Form (Verb 2) + Complement Common time markers for Simple Past Tense: last night, last year, yesterday, today, ago, first, then, later, when Present Perfect Tense is used to express already/have. Occurred in the past, the difference, the present perfect emphasizes the result / effect of something that has happened in the past.
